There should be a whole dinosaur-themed gospel. Joseph and Mary finding shelter in the curve of a friendly Brontosaurus' tail, Jesus riding a T.Rex into Jerusalem...Judas could be eaten by Raptors!
No but I'm at the age where my physical body does seem like an obstacle -- believing it's just an illusion would be comforting, at that!
What other cool but esoteric religious words do you know, Dawn? I'm intrigued. :)
Transubstantiation was used on Big Love last night (Nance and I have been joking about it because home education came up, too) but I already knew that one -- I remember something from the old NHEN legislative list about "subsidiarity" as a concept that could apply to education as well as Catholicism.
Docetism was about it for now. Oh, except for Ebionism which is the opposite of Docetism...a fully human Christ. And honestly, I think I remember those two just because the words are so pretty. :)
I'm starting up my Education for Ministry course in September so I'll have lots more terms then.

Did you see those coloring hints at the bottom??
My favorite is the last, "flesh of christ" -- think that's a nice Caucasian pink or more realistically melanin-saturated? :)
LOL!
I didn't notice the 'flesh of Christ' thing. Obviously not a colouring book for docetists. :)
OK I admit it, I had NO idea what this meant and had to look it up in wikipedia:
"Docetism"
Sorry! It's not exactly a common word these days, is it?
