Do You Know Where Our Homeschooling Stuff Is?

After our false start in August I was eager to get back to homeschooling this week. Did I? No.

Why?

I have no idea where anything is.

Singapore Math has dissapeared. Writing Tales is nowhere to be found. First Language Lessons for the Well Trained Mind is gone.

Where in the heck IS everything? And why did it all seem to get lost right after I finally caved and turned the never-used playroom into a school room so I could keep everything in one place?

AAARGH!!!

I was actually going to make a very similar post just a few days ago... I can't recall now what was lost, but it did turn up within a day.

Have you checked tote bags? Under the beds? All the book piles? I've sometimes found a book put away, but turned backwards so I couldn't see the titles. On top of the fridge? In the closets?

Heh, have you asked the kids? Perhaps they hid everything! LOL

Found it! Or most of it anyway. It was, of course, my own fault.

I had, at some point, taken the stuff into my office (whoo hoo! an office!), put them on the computer desk and they'd fallen down at some point and then the room imploded and they were buried in the mess. I cleaned the room up Saturday and found it.

Molytail beat me to the punch. My daughter used to hide I mean store her books under the couch. Now that she's in school, she can't get enough textbook time, of course. She is even asking her teachers for extra work. Go figure. :?

Heather D, how do you know my friend Dawn??? I move all the way from NS to NB and end up in a homeschooling group with Heather D, and now here she is on my old bud's blog.

Small world...

PS Hi Dawn, LOL. Don't mind me using our blog to talk to other people do you? :-)

Freudian slip... of course you know I meant "your" blog. LOL.

LOL... Actually as far as I know, I don't know Dawn, I've just read this blog. :) Funny, I hadn't even noticed this was another Maritimer, I was just surfing some homeschooling blogs!

There are more Maritimers in these comments than you might think. *grin*

Okay, okay, so I'm a wee bit misplaced at the moment. :-P

So between the four of us we represent 3 maritime provinces. :D

Lynn (boremetotears)is from away but she's got the sense of humour of a maritimer so she might as well be from here!

Well, I kinda represent two cuz I've homeschooled in both see... and I vacationed in PEI this summer, so that's gotta count for something too, and hubby is going to NF this weekend... and I really like all those horsies on Sable Island... and all that treasure chest stuff off Mahone Bay... where my original ancestors came from right off the boat and owned HEAPS of land which I really wish could have become mine all these years later cuz holy geeze and... where was I?

Did I mention my great great grandfather was a Senator from Nova Scotia? So there you go, I have to be counted in both. Humph. :-)
